I am doing a quest called necromancers moon and i was trying to figure it out but i cant , it is talking about heavenly lights the shade of the revenent but im not sure what it means , im at the dark fissure right now and i read the hastily drawn notes , heres what is says ( bare with me if i cant read some of the words on the note ) ok, heres what it says " Altars have been raised ; anchorites have been called . Watch the skies : once a week His grace shines down on us" any one have any ideas??

A light shines down from the mood once a week at one of the necromancer altars (one being the dark fissure cave. You just need to wait for the light to shine on the altar there which may involve needing to wait/sleep for 24hr periods and checking etc.

ok one more question , i found the purpleish light shining on the altar , now what do i do?

put your grand soul gem into the altar, and cast a soul trap spell onto the altar, open up and you get a black soul gem.

yes make sure you CAST a spell (and not on self )

Ok, I just realized he isn't asking how to use the altar; he is asking what he is supposed to do in the quest. Go inside Dark Fissure and you will find out what to do next when you meet its inhabitants.

im having trouble just GETTING this stupid quest!! im supposed to see bothiel from the university and she is in the orrery and will not come out.. ive "waited" for days and done other quests but it keeps showing her red marker behind that door in which i need a key! any advice?
