Shelke sickens me to the core...

To me, Shelke is an interesting character. My main question when I finished my first play-through was how her relationship with Vincent would turn out. Throughout the game, Shelke seemed to have a sort of connection with Vincent, more so than anyone else. I don't think there's anything romantic there (Shelke may be 19, but she looks like she's 10 or 12), but it did seem that she was starting to become friends with Vincent.

Shelke's voice is annoying, but I think that it really did fit her. She was supposed to have no emotions and be a sort of robot. Then the human art of her kinda took over. Her voice didn't really change towards the end, but it didn't have to. We might see her in future FF7 games and her voice might be better.

I can't picture Vincent and Shelke being together....

Yeah I agree, i think Vincent and Shelke have nothing to do together, they look too much like each other! But, even though i hate her, there IS something going on between them. Nothing romantic of course, that'd make me sick! It's more like a father-daughter thing, IMO.

But Xegaldis, if you want pictures of Shelke, you should go in the picture thread; i posted one pic of her!

I never said they were together as in a couple. I meant that they seemed to be more friendly towards each other than to anyone else. Consider the fact that when everyone said that Shelke should go up to meet Vincent at the cave, she didn't argue. I don't think that she'd go if she didn't see the point to it.

By the way, does anyone have any pics of Shelke end-game? I'd be interested in getting one.

Well if you're talking about the relationship of Shelke between Vincent i have all but one thing to say. Love is engimatic and maybe that's what square is trying to portray (another break from the cliche Love-Love hero and heroine from FF series?)

Basically for shelke, Im okay with her. She brings out the humour actually, her monotonus tone though a break from the quite fast paced game (basically, a calming effect). Though the reason why she appears to sound and feel robotic may be mainly due to her ability to upload herself onto the web (and also the dependence on mako).

The cinematics at the end shows shelke with a slightly more human look on her face. (Read carefully the words and the movements she shows)

I'd hardly say Shelke brought any humour to the game. She's what made some scenes unbearably boring.

Yuffie brightened up the scenes with her air sickness, and clumsiness, and silly speeches. She's the only one in the game that had any real humour ... and maybe Cait Sith.

But Shelke ... *ehh* She was just terribly boring >_<

Agree with Phantasy. Shelke seems smittened by vincent and the latter doesn't mind shelke's company. (As demostrated by smiling at Shelke outside lucretica's 'sacred' cave which we have seen vincent emo in many times)
