Alright Theres been argumant about which is better The Simpsons or Family guy.

If you think Family Guy is better say why but if you think The Simpsons is better say why.

I do like both of them but if I had to choose I would say Simpsons. Simpsons is a classic and I still think it's not getting old and I think it's still funny too. Family guy is still new to me.

I like Family Guy better. I just seem to laugh every 30 seconds while i watch family guy and it takes me about every 15 minutes.

I like Family Guy more than the Simpsons because they have crazier humor/jokes which I find incredibly funny. But the Simpsons are great, too.

Family Guy. Like someone said, it keeps you laughing more than Simpsons. When I watch Simpsons, I'll sometimes think that it was funny, but family guy makes me burst out laughing. Family Guy seems to go where Simpsons doesn't too, and has more clever refrences.

I love them both, but for now Family Guy is better. Peter always say 100% random things that leads to a hilarios flashback. Basically, Family Guy is only better because The Simpsons are getting to old. in the early seasons, like 1,2, and 3, it was always funny. but now they are boring, no more funny left to give. but Family Guy is always funny, definitely one of the best shows out there.

Family Guy without a doubt. Simpsons are funny too. But I feel, whether now or in its prime, the Simpsons will never be as funny as Family Guy because Family Guy is just more outrageous and random than Simpsons.

look this is all i'm going to say. The Simpsons are 100x better than Family guy. 1st fact; Famikly Guy will never reach 10 seasons, 2nd Fact; the Simpsons have been running for 18 years.
Those facts destroy Family guy. The Simpsons are a classic that is not gettin g old at all. it is still really funny. they crack me up in one episode more than Family guy does in 20 episodes. Family Guy's jokes get really stupid after a while. they have been running with the same material for 5 years. Peter is a fat bastard, meg is a stupid virigin, chris is afraid of the evil monkey ( so STUPID ) brian has a crush on Lois, & Stewie still wants to kill Lois. Look family guy is already getting old. i used to like it. but when the 4th season started in the 7 episode 7 on it really stinked.

ok....... Well despite that I still believe that Family Guy is better than the Simpsons. Now if only Family Guy had a couple of more seasons under it's belt. I believe that Family Guy will make it past ten seasons but I don't believe that it will go as long as the Simpsons. Iv'e only seen a few of the new Simpson episodes so I don't know what the "new" Simpsons are about. I'm still amazed by how long the Simpsons could go and how they keep making up all of this new material. Family Guy is more of an "adult comedy" while the Simpsons is more of a "youth comedy" . I'm not saying that the Simpsons are for babies (I still watch re-runs) it's just the humor isn't as crude as Family Guy. It just depends on what kind of comedy you like.

Family Guy is the first television show to be cancelled and then picked up by the same network. This must mean something special.

Personally, I love both. Family Guy is more in-your-face humour, while The Simpsons has several classic quotes and moments (such as Worker and Parasite, etc.)

If I had to choose... then I'd cry. They're both amazing.
