re: HDD capacity limit

I have this board and have been running a 40GB HD for a year and a half. I had to upgrade from Win95 to Win98, but that worked fine. Having memory problems lately, though, so seeking solutions in the other forum. Hope this helps.

K6BV+3/66: the latest bios i found is from 2000/4/12
- i need suppot for 200gb or 250gb
- under linux it shouldn't be problem - it doesn't care about bios, but i want also winXP or 98

re: HDD capacity limit

ok, I'm gonna answer it myself.
i just bought this hdd: >> Seagate Barracuda 7200.7+ ST3200822A - 200GB 8MB <<
original (not upgraded) bios found it as 137GB disk and after applying patch for winXP - support lba48 it's working perfect.
so feel free to upgrade your prehistorical k6bv3+/66 rev.B
