I'm just about to start Fable and I was hoping you guys could offer any specific advice on pointless things in the game.

When I play games, I hold on to EVERY ITEM and check EVERY box because I'm compelled to not leave anything out. And at the end of the game, I've wasted so much time doing pointless things, and stockpiling on useless items that I end up keeping the entire game. Once I'm done I think "i wish I could have told myself about all of these pointless items!"

So are there any tips like that you can give me now before I start with my bad habits?

(I have read the tips in FAQs, but I'm not looking for strategy, as much as a way to save my sanity)

*Examples:
-don't bother talking to ____, they have nothing to say
-_____ items are worthless

Do everything... it's all there for a reason.
one tip i'll give you though is dont spend all your early magic exp on just boosting your magic bar, as there a alot of potions you find in the game that will boost your bar without wasting your exp.

you can't have everything in the game in just one play through as some quest etc require you to do one thing and gain one item whilst forfiehting another the only way to get everything is have atleast two games. However i believe its easier to gain items if you are evil rather than good e.g more demon doors will be acsessible you can steal items etc
