My daughter got me started in this game and Ive found tons and tons of FAQ's on different stuff in the game. Im really loving it so far. But the killer faerie can take a flying leap.. lol. Anyways this game seems almost out of this world and so I'll ask an out of this world question since Im during the Rose Cottage Quest and cant confirm it on my own. When I open a chest that requires so many Silver Keys, do I lose those Silver Keys when I open the chest and get my reward inside? Common sense says I would. But I wanted to make sure.

No, when you open a chest, you keep the keys.

There are 30 keys in the game and no chest requires more than 25.

(If you have Fable: The Lost Chapters instead of what's called "the original Fable," there is a chest that requires 30 silver keys. There is also a Demon Door that asks for all the keys in your possession - don't give them to him until you've unlocked all the chests you want to unlock because you won't get the keys back from it.)
