They are wrong. Jesus, the main quest takes about 25-30 hours to beat, that is only the main quest. If you do everything, it will easily be 100+ hours. Most magazines do not know what they are talking about. ------------------- ![]()

Now lets not be insulting. Anyway I'm currently playing Arx Fatalis, which has a basic Morrowind design. In both games I'm experiencing some inflexibility, one of the flaws of both games. Both games are large in size, but I agree with the opinion of having Fable a little smaller than the other two. It takes time to get to the middle nowhere to complete some mission and having to walk that same distance back. At least if Fable were smaller, that problem would be easily solved. The teleporters also solve that same problem with ease.

ok, go to big blue box forums, and look for posts from Sam, or Gradius, or Jaime, , they are moderators of the official Fable forums, and they work on the game. ------------------- ![]()

I just hope there are no glitches like in Morrowind. that would realy ruin the game. Especially NPC drift, that has to be the most annoying glitch ever... -------------------

I heard that they had to postpone more because there were kids in it that were killable and there is a law against killing kids in video games so they tried to make you check you weapons when entering a city but the testers were sniping the kids with bows from beyond the city

that is true, except it is not illegal to be able to kill kids in a game. You could sacrifice them in black and white. ------------------- ![]()

First of all, I need to say this: No offense meant, but take it if you want it; All of you people are pessimists. On one hand, Morrowind was an exceedingly large, kinda glitchy game. The freezing, aforementioned NPC drift, missing or impossible to get items, among other, smaller worries do make the gigantic map a bit tougher to stand, overall. But think of MW's gameplay, with it's freeform mission style and open exploration. It had consequences, true, but since when does news travel that fast? If I kill a guard, and immediately teleport a continent away to another city, how are the guards there going to know? Now, Arx Fatalis, a game which just recently, I began playing. Arx has a bit more constrictive gameplay, but some of the innovations are the non-arcade magic, which you dial out yourself on a mouse or joystick, that and the cooking, and the very flexible item creation methodology. Now, moving onto to Fable, the other hand, there's one glaring, previously mentioned point. No one has played it is in these forums, unless they a)Work for Lionhead/BBB and are under secrecy, or b)Are bastards(or someone I forgot about). And, while it may be good to expect less from future games, I have full faith in Peter M., Lionhead, and Big Blue Box. The game looks good in screens and trailers, plays good, according to the companies, and sounds good with all of the freedom and choices. Why don't, instead, we focus on the good parts? Becoming a werewolf in Morrowind, or securing your own powerful artifact;Roasting a live chicken with Fireball in Arx, or maybe summoning your first demon(then dying it, when Control doesn't work). And with Fable, true they did take plenty out, but what haven't they taken out? That's what you ask yourself. ------------------- ----------------------------------- Southside/Represent
