HELL YA it will be better than Morrowind I not sure about bigger but ya it should be better!!!!!!

I really really doubt it will be bigger than morrowind. I have read that the size of the map in fable will be roughly be the greenland (in scale).
So it is going to be pretty big. :

I think I've said this before, but whatever they said it was like 1/3 or so the size of the actual Morrowind contient. But since all the people and things react more then 10x in Morrowind the size wont be as big, but the in depthness will be.

Wow. Sniping kids. Who would of thought of that? Really? "hmmm, look there's a kid just inside the city. Wonder if I can get him from here?" Well I hope they solve that problem in a realistic manner.

What are you talking about? This thread was it about bieng bigger then Morrowind. But I'm pretty sure you just replied to the wrong thing, and I'm with you on taking child killing out too. It just wouldnt be worth the little kid on the ground in the end.

Some people are just excited by the prospect of true freedom, especially after hearing of being able to kill children (which I think is taken out now)....

I bet there are a few who thought 'ah that's a great idea' when they first heard you could do anything, even kill the little ones.

I admit, I myself was going to slaughter a whole village, even the children, just for the hell of it. Just for that feeling of power.

And I KNOW there are others who would glady kill anyone, even the kids.

I hated The long walks in morrowind I always used the silt trader, then I killed everyone in the world off when My character became unstoppable, then even at like 100mph walking speed it still took me 2 hours t o get from one city to another. But how big are the towns gonna be? like are they gonna be as big as Morroc Cities? OR small little towns easy to burn and pilage?

when i did that morrowind cheat i could jump half of the map

O yea lol, I maxed out my Jump and athletics as well I loved the good old Jail trick, I got my characteers agi over 1mil, But it sucked when I over jumped it by 100miles

Yeah yeah being bigger than Morrowind all that stuff is great, but what about seizing the greatness that made Morrowind great. Can you kill anyone you see?!!

I don't mean to put this game down but I think the idea of it being bigger than morrowind is absurd not to mention almost impossible.

Morrowind had such a big map that the player himself was just about the size of one of the pixels on the paper map. Oh yeah, and besides that, you forgot to mention all the tombs in it. Only looking at the size of the exterior of the map is unfair. To make it short, no way fable is going to be bigger.

Morrowind may not allow you to take ANY path. But it certainly should not be looked down because of that. If you looked at the strategy guide for morrowind, it has 413-414 pages of quests, map info, and creature info. It certainly has alot of quests. And though they are not that detailed in general, they are still abundant, and it would be very difficult to produce a game with so many quests as morrowind. And Morrowind is a fairly old game. Fable hasn't even come out yet.

But i am still going to buy a copy of fable none the less seeing as I like to explore the land. Speaking of which, the landscape in morrowind isn't useless. It has plants to gather ingredients from to make potions and creatures to soultrap so you can make your own enchanted weapons. And like I said, the tombs, caves, towers, ruins and city's make up for morrowind's lack of freedom of path.

alot of you guys are talking about seeing a map for fable. would it be asking too much, or going too far off topic, to have a link posted to it?

I don't know of any map that is out, we're just talking about what the creators said. That the size of Albion(or however you spell that) is about 1/3 of Morrowinds actual size. Thats all we know. Or all I know.

no because the games are to diferent to judge at all this game u grow up in morrowind ur a full grown aldult morrowind u can be male or female fable u can only be male so no fable will not be bigger then morrowind game play wise graphics wise yes and performance wise most likly even thouhg i am a big morrowind fan it has to many glitches .
