ok i get that you can't kill kids but at some point they turn into an adult and you can kill adults so you are basically kiling kids right b/c they use to be a kid

yes. but all those mothers on their period dont see it that way. they see it as everyone has to agree with them and they will bitch and sue everything until they get their way. killing kids is realistic and kids are no different from adults. if parents loved their kid they would keep them out of the street where they can get themselves blown up by an evil wizardy tyrant thing. they better put killing kids in fable 2 or im gonna complain more than anyone ever though possible.

I dont think that its completely neccesary. Then if you wipe out the population you have to start over from nothing. And I dont think that lots of the people in history didnt kill kids and are still pretty evil. Al Capone was evil, but Im pretty sure he didnt kill kids intentionally. Now Hitler and Stalin actually just slaghtered people. Do you really wanna be someone like that?

Some of you people are pretty *bleep*in sick! You actually "Hope" they put child killings in the games?!?! Im not saying that i want it, im just saying that if they want more realism, they should keep it in. Its kinda disturbing that people are saying "I hope they put child killing in the game cuz i think it would be cool to brutally slaughter a child!" .... or this quote from Zao...

Look, I'll agree on the point that it would be more like "real" life if children could die. I disagree on the idea that we should be able to take our character and purposely slaughter a child. I'm for the idea of possibly scarring them cause i read that in an FAQ/interview type thing and the way it was explained sounded cool... especially the part where they hunt you down when they grow up and try to kill you out of revenge. But the idea of breaking into a house in the game and stabbing a child to death is kind of very creepy. I can accept the idea of smacking them around a little and then they curl up into a ball on the floor or something and you can't touch them anymore or something like that but not outright killing of children. That would just take it to a different level... Its one thing to hunt down other warriors and kill them or slaughter evil tyrants or even kill average citizens who get in your way towards ultimate power but killing children would take the game to a horribly evil and wrong level. BBB and LH would get sued to high hell and then there would never be a Fable 2 or anything else from them ever... thereby destroying the possible future of PRGs.

Look at GTA, people hate the game and rockstar could give a sh!t less. Even if you could kill kids in the game, are there going to be 200 kids running around in a town for you to just slaughter? I'm sure alot of the kids would be home doing chorus(sp?) and stuff. And the most understandable reason to kill a kid, if even possible to understand. Is if your evil to the fullest and you plan on taking out a whole family. But even then it's still a pretty wrong idea.

the reason i want "child" killings in isn't so i can kill "children". Its so i can kill indiscriminately. Its some *bleep*ed up idea of family values that puts everybody into roles they didn't choose and puts a worth on life. every life is the same, regardless of weather you call it a "Man", a "Woman", a "boy", a "girl", a "child", or an "adult".Something that labels someone on something as petty as age is immoral to to begin with.

there's really only one reason that child killing is taken out of any game; the rating system. any game where the player can kill a child is automatically given a 'Mature' rating, and these ratings do affect sales.

games like never winter nights and temple of elemental evil both had any children removed so that the player couldn't kill children, so that the publishers could get a 'teen' rating.

yeah, it's all about the soccer moms, but come on, with everthing you're going to be able to do in this game, is not being able to kill children such a big thing that everyone has to bitch about it?

yes. its immoral. and its going to be an M rated game anyway so there shouldnt be a big deal. I know that it is already a kick ass game but being able to kill indiscriminatly would make it that much better.

I dont really care which ever way they go. I know it does add to realism. I just think that child killing is ok when you have a a ligitimate reason. I just hate the people who go on rampages in games and think its funny to just like chop or gun down people to watch them run around or something f'ed up like that. I also never really liked the people who just ran people down for hours instead of even actually playing the GTA games.

i dont et the problem with killing kids if i want to go on a killing spree then i kill everything including kids im not a sick bastard..i just enjoy takling out my anger in video games by slaughtering every soul possible i did it in postal because i need to kill something..plus i thought it was funning watching people run away when i peed on them or when i put a cat on my m16 barrel..or when i made a trail of gasoline and light it on fire to burn everyone possible like in a club oh ya fable anyway i think killing everything possilbe is nice but if the kid looks real and really innocent i cant kill him that would be disturbed but if it was an ugly little video game kid *bleep* him bash his ass with a flaming sword

redfoxx has a point. killing sprees should not be screwed up because we cant kill kids. we need to be able to be able to destroy a town that sold us a ridiculously priced potion. and i dont want kids running around when everybody else is dead.

Ummm... i think we're slowly getting an idea of who in this forum is going to grow up and beat their kids or become serial killers.

So does that mean i can kill your first born child because he or she will eventually become an adult and if its okay for adults to be killed then it must be okay for a newborn to be kill? Sorry. That logic makes no sense. There is absolutely no good reason to kill children in this game.

Smacking kids around is one thing... eviscerating them is another thing.
