The first time I got to the Arena, it took me until four in the morning to beat it(I started about midnight). Now, it takes me twenty minutes, tops. I hate the rock trolls the most....

What's your strategy for them? I like to use Slow Time and then deflect the rocks they throw. It does some heavy damage when it rebounds and hits them instead! It's fun to use Slow Time and hack away with them at your sword too.

Yeah, Slow Time and Physical Shield. I hate waiting to deflect their rocks, though. I just hide behind one and hack away at it until it dies, then go for the other one.

How do you deflect thier rocks?

Using Slow Time, use your weapon while a boulder is flying at you to send it back to the troll. It's like playing baseball.... with dangerous creatures.

You have to swing just as the rock is about to hit you though, otherwise you'll miss. And make sure to re-cast Slow Time right away once it wears off. You might get hit when everything begins to speed up again.

I loved going through the arena, but I have never Hero Save exploited on purpose before. All I did is take pretty much all of the bets, including the without a scratch bet, and I just stock up on Mana Potion, and with Physical Sheild and a lot of blocking I go through it quite easily and make a ton of money!

Only bought the game yesterday but I think I've made a discovery that isnt in the FAQs yet, I havent seen it in the 4 or 5 ive seen anyway. I was in the Grey House area, going down and killing all the undead to increase my experience multiplier so I could spam away at the shield spell to get will experience. After doing this, I noticed a ripple at the water besides me and started to fish. After all, I used all of my mana / will power with the spell. After catching the item / gold / something else, I noticed my multiplier remained the same but my mana had recharged. Therefore, I spammed away with the spell again. Just a little thing that might help you mages.

Hey, cool tip iplaywithfire. I didn't know that. Did you manage to do it again? Or was it only a one time thing? Just curious as to whether it would work in other areas as well.

it worked more than that one time but ive only tried it in that area. It should work all the time in all areas though. Just sling your hook, wait, then either leave or catch something. If you come back too early not much mana will have recharged

how i defeat the trolls is i roll into them when they r about to attack and i am un harmed then i use the multi hit

i just slash at their feet
