lol I was messing around the other day in oakvale when I did Fireball (after fireball lvl was maxed) after it had charged fully I let it fly and it landed right next to someone and it ended up killing them without hitting them. so I started to run and realized the gaurds never chased me!!! This is not a glitch. It's called "splash damage", or damage that spreads out after the fireball impacts. Since the splash damage kills the villager and you didn't directly kill them, it doesnt count as a crime. | |

I believe it would, since guards are just like the regular npc's in the fact that you can kill them with splash damage, so I don't think you would get busted for it. | |

This is old news, everyone knows that you can throw your Fireball and kill them without hitting them. I don't think it works on guards because when ever I do it they all come running after me, that ends up pissing my character off then the fries every guard until the Balverines show up and all the people who live in my houses are dead. That usually makes me flee from Oakvale. | |

No, if you kill 1020 (1021, maybe) guards in Oakvale, White Balverines will spawn instead of guards.
