Howdy all! FreshMeat here, obviously... new here and will probably make a couple noob mistakes... so rip away, as I expect, but remember... everyone's new at some point.

Bought into the hype of Fable, but pretty much forgot most of it by time the game came out, but still had to preorder it... love the game... played it and beat it twice in the first 3 days... then, well, I'm playing it again and again as I am continuously finding stuff I overlooked... all I can say is, I'm glad I didn't buy the guide. At the very least, I found most of what is to be found on my own.

I think this game looks freakin' amzing. the graphics, the gameplay, the decision based storyline, everything about this game. I think it could be game of the year.

To each their own really. Some of us are having fun with all of the extra stuff and taking our time on the main quests. Other people a blowing through the game in 6 hours. Some of us are following runors to see if there are any hidden things or easter eggs. Others are flaming us for thinking this game could be hidding things. There are many different view points. I for one feel this is an amazing game and am having lots of fun now during the post-game trying to find secrets and own/rent homes. I beat the game in about 30 hours because i took my sweet time and i'm still loving Fable.
