And then later on I tried to flirt with a bandit he just socked me in the face! and then I ran away! BOO! HOO! HOO! No one wants to marry me! Nobodey likes me! how do you get people to like you!

Raise your renown by doing quests and killing either enemies or villagers. Get attractive tattoos, hairstyle, and clothing. Be good.

When you've gotten married, getting married again gets easier, because you gain 1000 renown points for each marriage. 26 marriages will render you Legendary.
