Disgaea will definitely fit the bill for a good SRPG.

^ You might like TWEWY. It's very linear, so you'll always know what to do next. Though, you'll have to spend some time getting used to the (awesome) battle system.

Chrono Trigger. Seriously. Even if you don't like RPGs, the game itself is a classic, and everyone should play it.

If you're into RPGs then Chrono Trigger, if you're into FPS then Moon.

Chrono Trigger, Apollo Justice, Digimon World DS (Or Dawn/Dusk), Pokemon, and... and... and... Those are really my favs that are out. look at those.


Oh, and I have a GBA Reccomendation to those who want a good, linear RPG But don't care if they don't understand any text and will probably have to use a walkthrough.

MOTHER 1+2. It has MOTHER and Earthbound on one cardridge, MOTHER is the first in series, Japan only. There's some methods to get an english version of MOTHER, but shouldn't be said. Earthbound is the linear one. The game points you in the right direction most of the time, and you can get it in English for SNES, But if you find a SNES copy it'll be like $100.

The battle system is alot like traditional RPG's in MOTHER. Except the final boss, who Is killed by spamming one command.

Earthbound's Battle system Is alot like MOTHER's, but there are more PSI, special commands for the characters (like how one character Poo can mirror an enemies' attacks for a turn), And Scrolling HP. When hit with, say, a fatal blow, (Like 1000 damage to someone with only 100 HP) The HP Scrolls down till the damage has fully been taken. that way, you can heal before they die and REVERSE the damage. Thus, stuff like "Level 1" Challenges and "No Reviving" challenges are quite possible with lots of PP and lots of Healing items.

If you have about $35, A Creditcard or Paypal, and don't care for Not understanding, and want to play these RPG's, This. game. is. for. you.

Wi-Fi: Pokemon D/P or MP:H

Oyjer games would be Chrono Trigger or The World Ends With You, since I heard they are good.

Digimon World DS

Digimon world DS is similar to pokemon but harder, you cant just train one digimon and hope to get far like the pokemon games. you acctually have to train mulitple of them, and at times in the game, your going to have to go to areas to acctually waste time training them instead of pokemon where if you just have 1 pokemon and play the game fighting the trainers in your way, your fine. The only way digimon is farely easy is if you use the codes to get the best weapons and two digimon that can help you until you get far enough that they are useless.
