Well I've had sonic for a while now, I really like it and all. But I can't get passed zone 1, I keep on trying, but I just don't have the technique yet. So any tips or help for me, I would be really greatful.

Use the turbo blast to your advantage. Learn all the tricks, and it'll pay off in the long run. Read and study the instruction booklet carefully. Good luck, and once you pass Zone 1, you'll unlock things, but I won't tell you.
