Hi, just rented AWDS for the DS and the cartridge has someone else's progress saved on it. Can someone tell me how I can erase everything off the cartridge and start playing the game from scratch?

Look i the instructions booklet, and it'll show you.

As far as I know,there's no way to erase the game,unless doing some nasty things to it,which I doubt you would ...*quickly shoots and kicks away *

Hold select, the L button and right on the control pad when you select advance wars after powering up. You'll be given an option to erase all saved data.

select, L button, right on the Control Pad when you touch the AWDS panel on the DS system menu. A prompt starts, choose yes (obviously).
