Not going anywhere

When I choose the guy with white hair (and has powers to help non-infantry units.....I don't know his name) I will eventually get to his Super Power like normal. However, once I move a non-infantry unit once, I can't move them again. That's weird because his power says I can move NON infantry units twice in one turn. I have my B-Copter move once, but I can't move it again. What's wrong?

Ah to be a new AW player again...*wistful look*

You are supposed to use it after he moves his characters, that way you can move them all again. Once you move all of your units, then use his super power, then you can move again!

re: Not going anywhere

The AI cant grasp that in a tag break... keeps using the other guy first so Eagle only gets ONE TURN!

Stupid AI...

re: Not going anywhere

I was wondering the same thing. When the AI has Eagle and another CO, they use (insert CO name here lol) and then Eagle in tags, but when it's Eagle's turn his SCOP doesn't work. Maybe it's because the AI is very dumb...

The AI is far from dumb in this game. You want to know how smart the AI is? Go to War Room and play Ridge Island against Grit or Dire Rage agaisnt Colin. Those 2 missions show how smart the AI really is

I was only refering to Eagles Tag Break... I am fully aware of how evil the AI is, even on the War Room maps I PWNED as Kanbei in AW2:

AW2, Spann Island: 12 Days
AWDS, Spann Island: 23 Days

AWDS is so much easier it's almost laughable.

re: Not going anywhere

Well, the AI practically pwned me in this mission called "Evil Risky Vale"(the evil is for showing how cruel the AI was with me)when Max and Kanbei box me in my HQ. This was in AW2 btw. They "tank/infantry/artillery" flood me and then they capture most of my bases.

Phase 2(enemy) Put their units on top of my bases and then they attack from there. They send lots of infantry and some mechs.

Phase 3(enemy) Go for an HQ capture or rout. They destroy my reserve tanks, artillery, and infantry then they capture the HQ. GAME OVER

re: Not going anywhere

the AI seems to have gotten stupider thoughout the years i mean think about AW1 was fairly challenging but AW2 was less of a foe and the same for AWDS its sad really

re: Not going anywhere

Yeah, but it IS possible to be as evil as the computer. Just play as sensei/hachi on the deployed versus map Bundle City. You get 1 HQ. There are 2 missile silos and 56 CITIES. Hachi is worthless if you don't use his super power/tag. But Sensei kicks butt if you use either power of his. Just keep capturing cities and using his power to get more and more infantry/mechs. Or you can tag w/ Hachi and have him buy lots of units (all at half-price) on any of the cities you have. Those two CO's are the absolute BEST on deployed maps (as long as there are cities, you can just keep putting out units). Eventually you will just have too many units for your opponent to take care of. Sensei and Hachi are both good for the bottom screen of the final mission in campaign. I used sensei's super power so many times that I couldn't create any more units (the max you can have is 50!!). Too many mechs (25-30).

I dont think that is a very good battle plan because you have to wait for ages to get all your units.
