Don't Combo Ancient Lamp & Cyber Jar or else....

There is an error occured involving Ancient Lamp, Cyber Jar and one monster card. Power of Chaos game will shut down on itself and an error message will appear. This error has happened more than three times to me (such luck...) and all of them are in a Match Duel when I'm facing Kaiba in Kaiba The Revenge game.

This error occured by the following actions (in order of events):
1. If you have an Ancient Lamp in your side of the field in face down position.
2. There is one or more monster(s) in Kaiba's side of field in face down position.
3. Kaiba's monster attacked Ancient Lamp.
4. You activated Ancient Lamp's flip effect to divert the attack to one of Kaiba's own monster.
5. You diverted the attack to a face down Kaiba's monster.
6. The face down monster flipped and it was Cyber Jar.
7. Cyber Jar's flip effect activated and all monsters in field destroyed.
8. When new monsters placed in field due to Cyber Jar's effect and on the square where Cyber Jar used to be was replaced by another monster that has ATK/DEF lower than the ATK of the monster that attacked Ancient Lamp earlier, the new monster card will be destroyed once more due to Ancient Lamp's previous effect of attack diversion that was considered by the game as NOT YET EXECUTED.
9. HOWEVER, Kaiba won't think so. On his turn, Kaiba will flip or use the (supposed to be destroyed) monster card to activate its effect (if it's a flip effect monster card) or to attack or as tribute to summon another monster.
10. That's when the game will shut down on itself and an error message appear.

The question is, what's the actual rule of the game that caused it to be 'confused' like this? It seemed the reason could probably be either one or both of these:
1. The game didn't have the 'right' rule of what what supposed to be happened when Ancient Lamp's effect combined with Cyber Jar's effect.
2. There's a rule of the game that Ancient Lamp's effect is not activated when the attacked monster was Cyber Jar and will be activated when the new cards placed, YET the character's AI didn't have this rule planted and therefore Kaiba still thought that he still HAVE the destroyed card.
3. Or Kaiba wasn't really paying attention while battling me and then he realized he's making a stupid mistake, so he decided to close the game down to save himself from getting embarrassed for making a beginner mistake like that.... ^^a Just a fun thought to have. =D
