If your character name is a censored word, you can no longer log on. For example, after the new censor on the word "skeet" was put in place the player Skeet in Bellocan can no longer login to Maplestory. Good job, Nexon!

Tbfh, the jew, jap, and christ ones are pretty ridiculous. I dont see why they allow Azn/asian but not the ones mentioned before.

I can understand wanting to lessen swearing in the game, but deleting peoples account just because of certain letters in their name? That's riduculous and lessens the already small amount of good names left to choose from. We really don't want to see more Naruto1957805823.

I'm assuming you're not Aria from sw.net...and Christmas was just an example of what words can no longer be used because of censoring the word "Christ". You seem pretty anal over nothing.

those videos are totally stupid, if there was ever anything that could totally dissuade me from playing maple story, it was the indian fish, the man with a cheetah print speedo and the guy with snails on his nipples. If i were a parent, I'd find it hard to believe it was rated E10+.

Edit: Also, do they really not understand that its the hackers who really curse, I cant say i have every tried to curse in that game, but when ever i say "Whisper me" it says "No Cursing Allowed" Anyone know why?

You can't say "whisper me" I imagine because the word sperm is in there.

They should get a better word engine. I try to say the phrase "something something about it? and I cant because of the word tit that is spaced out in it. They should have better identifiers like google.

I must admit, i've only seen ONE good maple ad. It was on GameFAQS for a while. the one where the archer hit the balrog in teh butt. You know what's funny? we can't say tit in maple but we CAN say boob. WTF is up with that? I think nexon should tone down the censor, leave it at the obvious. People find ways of getting around it anyways. I saw a smega that said, "Tlt, SO THERE NEXON"

The worst is when you type a fairly long sentence, and it ends up getting cencored. The least they can do is tell you why it was cencored.
