MapleStory on a Mac?

I have a Mac at home, and really miss playing MapleStory when I used to have a pc. Does anyone know if they plan on making a Mac version? Or should I just get over it and cry myself to sleep tonight?

re: MapleStory on a Mac?

I have a Mac too, and I play MapleStory. Basically, I use a program called VMware Fusion which (with a copy of XP/Vista/etc) allows you to run Windows on your Mac (it turns on, loads and such just like a PC, except it's a program on your mac). You can use pretty much any virtual machine program to play MS on if you have a copy of Windows to load in.

Only downside is you have to hold the Fn key to hit F1-12 without the default functions (brightness, contrast, etc) coming into play .

re: MapleStory on a Mac?

Yeah ok that works but what do you do if your Mac doesn't have an intel chip? Because VM Ware Fusion doesn't work with Macs that don't have an intel chip

re: MapleStory on a Mac?

I think another virtual operating system program that can be used on a mac is umm Bootcamp.. try that, might have the same problem you do with VMware but it is worth a try.

Bootcamp could be your best bet. But basically, no, oyu can't run maple on a mac unless you find a way to put Windows on your mac.

re: MapleStory on a Mac?

I have a Mac and I dual load both the Mac OSX and Windows Vista using Boot Camp.

You're best bet would be to do the same and install Maple Story on the Windows side.

Works like a charm.
