CaC Contest turned into one of those 'I know I'm forgetting something...but I can't remember what...' sort of things. Well, guess what I remembered?



Create a Class
Part 1


What is this?
    A contest to see who can come up with different ideas for jobs in maple story. Any ideas for classes are welcome as long as they are presented correctly and follow the rules, and anybody can enter a class, so have fun!
Instructions
    It's simple, think up something you think would make a great new job in maple story, and post it! Once everybody has had a chance to post theirs, everybody can vote for what they think is the best class!
The Twist
    There's going to be 4 contests like this in total, spanning over a nice chunk of time. To mirror this, your class has to follow certain requirements which are listed below. Each contest will look at a specific stage of a class. By the end, you should have a complete class tree that works. A first job, and at least one 2nd, 3rd, and 4th job that all work together. First up is 1st Job (traditionally levels 10-30), then 2nd Job (30-70), and so on. Your job is not required to follow the traditional level chunks, but they must connect. After the final contest there will be an overall winner picked who participated in all four of the contests who will get 10k NX via me buying a NX Card.
Requirements
    This time around, the challenge is to build a class that is 1st Job. This job does not have to span the exact levels of 10-30, however you do need to state what levels it uses. You cannot submit more than one entry, and entries are due this Tuesday (June 16th)
How to post your job
    You post what levels it is for (Example: 10-30), what weapon it uses, what stats you need for the class, and it's skills. For skills you only need the name of the skill, and what it does at level 1 and at it's max level. There is an example below if you need help understanding.
When it's due
    Tbd. It will be at least 14 days and will be no longer than 42 days.
Voting
    Votes must be sent via this link, it's pre-formatted and such. Categories for voting are as follows:
  • Overall Best
  • Most Balanced
  • Least Balanced
  • Most potential for later jobs
  • Best Idea
  • Most Original
    Rules for Voting:
  • You cannot vote for yourself
  • You can vote for somebody using either their username or job name
  • You cannot vote for the same person twice in a single category
  • The only category you must put votes in for is "Overall Best", the rest are optional.
  • Note: It does matter what order you put your votes in. Please put your first choice first, second choice second.

    Description: Fists turn into blood slingers, and with every punch deadly diseased blood will hit the enemy.
    Level 1: Blood 10% infected, 100% accuracy.
    Level 2: Blood 20% infected, 90% accuracy.
    Level 3: Blood 30% infected, 80% accuracy.
    Level 4: Blood 40% infected, 70% accuracy.
    Level 5: Blood 50% infected, 60% accuracy.

      Level : 10 - 30

      Weapon : Knuckles

      Stats : STR (Primary) & INT (Secondary)
        Skill book 1 : Book of Light

        - Prism Shard -
        A quick thrust of your fist emits a green crystal shaped light that pierces 2 enemies.

        Level 1 : 70% damage ; 11 MP ; hits 1 monster.
        Level 11 : 140% damage ; 22 MP ; hits 2 monsters.
        Level 20 : 210% damage ; 33 MP ; hits 2 monsters.

        - Beam Kick -
        Combo attack. Can hit up to 4 times, followed by a finishing blow (Beam shot).

        Level 1 : 2 hits ; 80% damage per hit ; 16 MP ; Press → → + Shift to unleash.
        Level 11 : 3 hits ; 110% damage per hit ; 16 MP ; Press → → ↑ + Shift to unleash.
        Level 20 : 4 hits ; 140% damage per hit ; 40 MP ; Press → → ↑ → + Shift to unleash. Final blow 200% damage.

        - Max HP/MP Increase -

        Increases amount of HP/MP gained per level. Bonus when adding AP.

        Level 1 : 10 HP / 4 MP per level up. 13 HP / 7 MP bonus if adding AP.
        Level 20 : 30 HP / 12 MP per level up. 39 HP / 21 MP bonus if adding AP.

        - Prism Shield -
        Light forms a protective barrier to increase Weapon Defense and Magic Defense.

        Level 1 : 10 W.DEF/10 M.DEF ; Lasts 30 seconds ; 18 MP
        Level 20 : 50 W.DEF/50 M.DEF ; Lasts 300 seconds ; 50 MP
      INT increases the power of any magic/light used during combos or skills. STR increases the power of the melee aspect of the class. Knuckles are adjusted to fit the stat style of the Prism Trainee, therefore STR increases maximum damage and a slight increase to minimum, while INT increases accuracy, magic attack, and minimum damage.



This class would be pretty damn beast with Hyperbody on.

    Shadow Stalker would fit nicely with the Pervert class, actually.

    Some spacing and things are missing there, but overall, good idea.

    Good idea to Tyler also, could go with the new race Aran. ( To those who don't know, it's out in Korea only )
