Error 110 - Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE to open up the task manager and click Processes. If you find "trose.exe" or "GameMon.des" (or something similar), click "End Process" then "Yes". If that doesn't work then restart your computer or play MapleStory under a different windows user account.

Error 112 - A virus and spyware scan is highly recommended. Close all programs and try again.

Error 114/360 - This shows that something on your PC is preventing GameGuard from running. Disable Windows Firewall and all 3rd party firewalls. Temporarily disable your anti-virus and anti-spy (or uninstall them if all else fails). Click Start then Run. Type "services.msc" without the quotes. Make sure the following services are disabled from startup and the service is stopped. (to do this, right click on the item).

- Automatic Updates
- Background Intelligent Transfer Service
- Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing
- Security Center

If you've done that then Windows Firewall has been completely disabled. (You can turn it on again anytime you want). If Maple still doesn't work, try this. With Maple installed, download and install the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility. Find MapleStory and click remove. Now uninstall Maple. This will now be a fresh, new install. Download the client again and install normally. If it still doesn't work, try this. Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE to open the task manager and click Processes. Kill of any programs that you know is safe to close. ProcessScan will scan your processes and tell you what is safe and what is not. You should not kill any of the following processes:

- explorer.exe
- svchost.exe (there are multiple, don't end any of them)
- lsass.exe
- services.exe
- winlogon.exe
- csrss.exe
- smss.exe
- System
- System Idle Process

If that still doesn't work, then I have one last solution. Uninstall Maple. Start > Control Panel > User Accounts. Create a new user account as an administrator. Now on that account, download and re-install Maple.

Error 120/124/141/142/150/153/170 - GameGuard is corrupted. Delete the GameGuard folder, run MapleStory and let it download the new GameGuard patch.

Error 340/350/380 - Go to C:/WINDOWS/system32/drivers/etc/ and delete the HOSTS file.

Error 361 - Make sure you are connected to the internet.

If the other thread was deleted, this one needs to be deleted.

Did I close or delete it? If I did, it might be because the person did a poor job of it and it was totally useless, as I've done such in the past after the original thread poster asked, but I honestly don't remember which thread it was.

Like GameGuard Error 126? It obviously means your computer is being hacked. At this point, I have no idea what to do.

::Never have had it, just heard as a "rumor" that they say that you might be getting hacked.

Usually, you computer may not have the problems of wad the different error says. Cause it's may sometimes be due to us using hacks therefore Gameguard may have errors. So best is not hack. But everyone knows that's impossible! =P

The one I have go in more details and have more errors.
I've tested mines and everything works a-o-k.

If only your grammar has less errors.

Anyways, I'll be sure to talk to Chrome about it, as he made this thread. Having the best method of aid is obviously what we need in here, so I'll be sure to change it if necassary.
