I just arrived at Lvl. 10 last night, and would like some opinions as to where to put the SPs I earned...some guides I've read say to the Magic Claw, others have you do MP Recovery with the claw a bit later. Which one seems to work out better and why?
Also, I ran into a hacker last night who got me killed...went through a portal to explore a bit, and came out in the middle of a bunch of monsters all clustered together with some hacker beating on them all. I couldn't even get through the portal to escape before I got ghosted!

Needless to say, I was glad to get back to Ellinia and rest up a bit.

I've been really lucky so far--the higher level players I've run into so far have been pretty helpful--guess they still remember what it was like for them when they were new!

Lastly, I see quite a few green capped mushrooms around...what do I need to kill them? (yes, I know I need to level up a bit...I can get slimes and stumps okay if they're by themselves....)

Put your first SP on Energy Bolt
Raise MP recovery to 5
Max out Improving Max MP blah blah to 16 (or was it 18)
Max Magic Claw
Max Magic guard
do w/e with the rest of your points

Depends which type of mage you being F/P I/L or cleric?

He's only level 10.

ANyway, I did say you add MP Recovery first with the claw a bit later.

1 EB
3 MP Recovery
5 MP Recovery 1 Improve Max MP
4 Improve Max MP
7 IMprove MAx MP
8 Improve Max MP 2 Magic Claw
Max Magic Claw
Then go with MP Recovery.
Than go with Magic Guard. NO MAGIC ARMOUR

i maxed out my claw ay lvl 16 and now im doing mp stuff^_^

If you're not funded, I suggest you go MP recovery first. Since it'll save you quite a lot of money on MP potions.

It depends if you wanna save money or train faster.

This is what I did if you wanna do both kinda.

1 Energy Bolt
5 MP Recovery
Max Improve Max MP
10 Magic Claw
Max MP Recovery (Or you can do your own with magic claw and MP recovery where you do both at the same time)
Finish Magic Claw
Max Magic Guard

max out magic claw as soon as possible then get mp recovery, because i don't think you like sitting around doing nothing while you wait for your mp to go up, besides it goes up while you train

also don't max out magic claw until you max out improving max mp first

U need 5sp for MP recovery then max the Max MP, so ur MP starts adding more everytime u level early in the game and u know u gonna need it...

i suggest u put it in to claw first then max mp then mp recover cause the higher ur lvl the more mp u get.so u dont need any mp pots.the only pots u need is orange and white if ur funded.

Wait a minute! Did the person who started this thread became magician at lvl 10!?? He/she is supposed to be magician at lvl 8.
