Hitman Fans

We have to get Hitman fans attention. We have to start some more forms. Put some ideas on this thread or start some new threads. Who would like to see 47 has to drive to his target. You could control all that. Ideas people.

that would be pretty cool. imagine... dianna gives 47 the brief, and a location. its up to 47 to travel to the target. this would include jacking a car to get to the airport, assuming the identity of a baggage handler to get on the plane, then hijacking the plane and taking it to his destination.

re: Hitman Fans

I'd like to see a more open-ended style of play. I know you can pop a target anyway you want but what if you could fail an assassination but still carry on with the game and the story changes ever so slightly? Maybe certain bonuses and missions could become available depending on your style of play (who is or isn't assassinated and how its done).

The ability to pick pockets and plant evidence that may get your target gunned down by guards (or arrested - that'd be new) would also be nice.

That would draw too much attention for authoritys, a proffesional hitman would just use a fake passport and travel there normally...

No that would be awful!

No GTA style of play should be in a hitman game, it would just be awful and ruin a brilliant series.

... freedom in any form can never be boring, if anything, I find limitations boring. And dude (Tool_Fan_06), turn capslock off - people hate that as much as double posting.

re: Hitman Fans

If the next game is like GTA with freedom to roam, i don't think i will be buying it. It is such a bad idea, it totally takes away the uniqueness that the Hitman series has!

re: Hitman Fans

Freedom of actions would better - the same type of mission structure but with more choice and ways to do things. Some kind of online mode would be good too (like an Assassins vs. Assassins or something, just as long as it doesn't detract from the main game).

re: Hitman Fans

They add more ways of doing things in each game, but the option to drive to locations and walk around a city when not on a mission would not be Hitman as we know it.

I meant thinking outside of the box, rather than "ooh, look he can punch now" and "ooh, look he can hide bodies now" - do you really think they couldn't have done that ages ago? For the next game I'd like to see something a little more exciting than a new weapon or minor technique. What we'll end up with next time around, whether we like it or not is the ability to break necks as a stealth attack, individual limb targeting (so you can choose to wound people), and destructible environments. On top of that expect a few more upgrades and a few more weapons to upgrade. Cynical? You bet.
