quote Michael PenanceSurely wounding people would go against the whole "Leave no Witnesses" angle wouldn't it, I mean it wouldn't be good for 47 if some guy he shot in the leg and left for dead was giving the police a detailed report of his facial features. ------------------- On Super Smash Brothers Melee people brag about fighting level 9's for training... I kill them for fun. The two numbers that inspire the most fear in the world are 666 and 47.

re: Hitman Fans |
quoteI didn't necessarily mean, wound them and leave them - I was thinking if you needed to keep them alive long enough to find something out but had to stop them from running (i.e. a contact with vital information to a mission that may very well decide to no longer want to talk). Keep them alive long enough to interrogate them. Things like that. ------------------- 85% of everything I say is purely for my own entertainment

quote SRU_ BenjiWell, there are plenty of possibilities for such a thing. Shooting guns out of hands and the like would also be possible. ------------------- 85% of everything I say is purely for my own entertainment

One thing that i did not like to see was that you can now run about without causing alert or suspision. I know this makes it quicker and easier and walking is boring but at least it made the levels feel like you had to be alert, it made you think that the guards actually had some intelligenvce, now you can just go running around the place without raising any kind of alert, even on pro mode for god sake!

quote R3vo1utionThat bothers me half as less as taking a quarter step in the wrong direction or breaking into a mild jog just to get shot in the face. Lets face it, being in a hurry could never give due cause to shoot someone. A thing that does bug me though is when you're treat like different to everyone else (e.g. on Amendment XXV, the civilian sets the metal detector off, nothing special happens. You do it and they kill you ------------------- 85% of everything I say is purely for my own entertainment

quote Michael PenanceSo like snake eater? Again, not that kind of game, would suck. 47 is not stupid enough to take a mission not knowing what he needs to do, remember, he isn't a recon guy to get intel, he is an ASSASSIN. -------------------

re: Hitman Fans |
quote thebutcher99999Did I say all the time? I was just giving a damn example. 47 has had to rendezvous with people before in previous missions (in previous games) to attain the information required to finish the mission or as part of the mission. I was just saying, maybe one day, someone might decide to not to want to impart their information and run. In which case you could shoot them in the leg to prevent them getting away AND then get the information from them. By all accounts, 47 should be smart enough not to have done half the things he's done over the series (like no assassin no matter how good would be stupid enough to go against the FBI or the KGB, or the Triads, etc). ------------------- 85% of everything I say is purely for my own entertainment

But he had to.
What would the point of having a feature you only had to use once in the game? -------------------

re: Hitman Fans |
quote thebutcher99999I already mentioned you would be able to shoot guns from hands and that kind of thing (like the guards can do to you in Blood Money), the ability to limb target could come into play more than once. Like I said, I was just giving an example. No one else was giving any ... unless you have some better examples. ------------------- 85% of everything I say is purely for my own entertainment

But i think its a crap idea, its nothing to do with what hitman is about, its about blending in, not massive gun fights and injuring people.

re: Hitman Fans |
quote thebutcher99999I don't see you coming up with better ideas - incidentally, I never said anything about massive gun fights. And besides, if he's supposed to blend in, why can he take a human shield? I've only ever used that twice. Come on ... what's your brilliant idea? I can't wait to criticise that. ------------------- 85% of everything I say is purely for my own entertainment
