Gradual Petrification

Er. How long does it take to actually pertify the enemy? I've waited like 10 turns, with nothing happening.

re: Gradual Petrification

Gradual Petrification should be renamed "Slowing Petrification"

In other words, it doesn't actually petrify them, but it slows them ( at least, it does in FFIV )

I've never seen a gradual petrification before on the game. What does it look like?

re: Gradual Petrification

Provokedtrees is incorrect, that's an onhit petrify, which is not gradual petrification. To be gradually petrified, cast Break (not Breakga, as that's instant petrification) on your own party. I'm pretty sure only players can inflict it, as I'd have remembered if anything else can.
