okay, i know the first time you meet the darkness, your supposed to die. But the second time, in the dark hole, how are you supposed to beat her? The particle beam kills all of my people before i can kill her. i get 2 shurikens in but thats not enough.

Ok, first I have some questions. What level are your characters? Second, did you beat all the sub-bosses in the Dark World? Some people tend to forget that.

So yeah generally if you get to that part and can't continue, chances are you haven't spent enough time raising your characters to high enough levels. Just spend some time fighting lesser monsters until you think you're ready.

all of my people are lvl 55 or 56. and i followed all of the trails that i found and i didnt see any sub bosses in the dark world. two of my people are ninjas, which throw shurikens at the darkness and deal 9999 dmg. what lvl should they be?

Alright, here are my answers:

Q1: The CoD's HP will always be 120000. However, the particle beam's strength will weaken significantly. You will also be able to inflict more damage.
Q2: The only boss that has weakness is Ahriman, wind. I however find Cerberus the harderst sub-boss because it can attack 3 times per turn.
Q3: To beat CoD the first time it took me about two or three tries.
