This is my first time using a job system |
|
FF3 is the first time I've really gotten to choose my jobs. Right now the main character is a warrior, Dorian is a red mage, Arc is a white mage, and I 4get the girls name but she is a black mage. Idk if what I'm doing is good or what. I'm right at the very beginning, I just finished the Gnome Village. What do you think is the best possible jobs for my party at this point in the game?

It doesn't matter who has the job ut the job they have matters. I'm assuming that this dorian is Ingus. The team you have right now is good. As you get more crystal's blessings the more jobs are available to you.
Certain jobs have certain advantages and disadvantages for example, the Black Mage has high magic power but low physical defense. There are ways into getting around that. You can put that certain character in the back and that lowers physical damage done by monsters. Even bosses have their weaknesses to certain jobs. Scholars are able to dispel effects casted by monsters leaving them back to their original state. Dragoons are able to do more damage to airborne enemies better than grounded ones. Every job has their goods and bads so the best way is to try out different jobs. You can always switch jobs whenever you please so try them all out and find what better suits your fashion. ------------------- ![]() | |
