	Yeah but by the time you get raise, red mages are horrible and should be forgotten for the rest of the game from that point on.

	The monster is called Rust Bird. Rust Birds are more often found near the top of the peak and they are purple with golden wings, I believe. I have trained my theif from the beginning (who had around 30 Job Level when I was in the Mountains) and I was able to steal the Pheonix Downs without a problem. ------------------- Cookie to Luigi Jean for the banner I blame society.
