Newbie (Please help)
|
Greetings,
I recently got the urge to play YGO, and decided I'd give YGO Online a shot. To be honest, my first impression of the system was not good. I don't understand, and the Yu-Gi-Oh! Online home page doesn't do much to curb my confusion. I understand that I need Duel Passes to play, but what I don't understand is how I'm supposed to amass playable cards.
My given deck is HORRIBLE. I'm dueling computer opponents that have mirror force, Grand Mole, etc... I understand I can buy packs online, but that's confusing as well. I check out Ebay, and find many different duel pass purchasing options. How does those work? I'm given a code, and I get Duel Pass Points, and X number of random cards from that pack? And I see from the store that I'm able to purchase single cards with MP, which I understand are mileage points that you attain from using some many Duel Passes, but other than that, only cards you can get are from winning duels, and random card packs. It seems like making a usable deck is too long of a process. What am I not understanding?
Thanks for any info!

Last time I played Yu-Gi-Oh! Online was during the beta test when it was completely free. The way it works is that you duel online against other people, after a single duel you get 1 random card if you win and 3 if it was a match (2 out of 3 games).
I'm sorry to say I don't know anything about the duel passes. All I know is that each of them gives you the right to play 50 duels or something like that.

Basically, Duelpasses give you 15 duels. And when you put in your first duelpass, it gives you 3 decks automatically that are pretty decent. On the website, the manual is actually pretty useful. You can get Duepasses via SMS, which I find the easiest.
