That was cringe worthy to watch. I like Haye's confidence and arrogance and some of the interviews he gives are very entertaining, but that was lame.

Wow geez, i hope Taylor is alright after that KO, that was a *bleep*ing hard hit.
Abraham is a monster, i really hope to see him or Kessler the winner of this tournament. He wanted that extra point for the KO, he was miles ahead on the scorecards going into the final round...and that KO was a big 1 2:40 -------------------

I feel for Dirrel, he did enough proper boxing to win but he just wasn't aggressive enough. A draw could have been fair, and shouldn't have been given the shocking point deduction and would have meant the draw. Dirrell was brilliant at moving out of the way though, brilliantly fast punches, and I worry for Froch up against Kessler and then Abrahams, he's got easily the two toughest tests of his career coming up.

I can only agree mate, and if Kessler beats Ward, then their will be 2 titles on the line in Copenhagen, and after Kessler & Ward there will be Dirrell to fight again
This is going to be an immense tournament. -------------------

I didn't score the fight, but a Froch decision was probably right. Dirrell did nothing apart from train for the backwards 100m sprint. He won the last 2 rounds when he was prepared to fight and should've done more of that.

So it's Haye vs. Valuev on Saturday, definitely gonna head into town to watch that. Seems like the result is really important in terms of injecting some life back into the division, boxing needs a Haye victory here.
It's definitely possible, hell he's the bookies favourite, but my one worry is that Haye will go one step too far and try to go for a big knockout and get clobbered in the process. The sight of him sending Valuev to the floor would be freaking amazing...so I'm caught in two minds as to whether I'd want him to step it up a notch and try it if he was in control or not xD

This fight could go either way. Haye's a far superior boxer, but being 100lbs less I can't see him knocking Valuev out. Haye also has a glass jaw, and his stamina's shit so I wouldn't be at all suprised if he gets KTFO. Then again Valuev is a terrible boxer who has a pretty poor resume and Haye is probably the best boxer he's faced to date so I wouldn't be that surprised if Haye finishes him within 6 rounds. Then we could look forward to Haye calling out the Klits, then bottling it when they agree to fight

Fairplay to David Haye, I wouldn't fancy taking on someone twice my size even if I did know I was better than him technically.
It wasn't a pretty win, but a win none-the-less.

Man oh man. I freaking love people who talk shit like he does but can back it up.
Would've been amazing if he KO'd him and he came close at the end, but he was very clever throughout the match. Awesome.

When Valuev stumbled in the last minute or so of R12, i was so hoping he was going down. Deserved win for Haye too imo. Enjoyed tonight's boxing, so i had a look at what's on soon and Manny Pacquiao's on Sky Sports next weekend i think too.

Valuev is just too slow, simple. Haye took some decent shots without worry which was good to see.
Still can't really judge Haye as a HW properly yet though. Cannot wait for Pacquiao-Cotto. I've got a couple quid on Cotto but I reckon Pac's speed will kill again. ------------------- ![]() Gale Van Hoy bent me over and *bleep*ed me!

Does anyone know what time the Pacquiao/Cotto fight starts in England? I know the program starts at 2AM but that's obviously not going to be the time the main event starts. I'm gonna sleep until the fight starts so i need to know when to set my alarm for

Cotto-Pacquiao
10-9 9-10 8-10 8-10 10-10 9-10 9-10 9-10 9-10 10-10 9-10 = 100-109 Thats how i scored it myself, i thought Cotto took the first round which was the only one he took all the fight. I had my doubts about Pac fighting a natural 147 pounder, and weather he could take a fully fledged welterweights punch...but i have totally scrapped that now, and i am starting to think this man isn't even human He was pure class tonight, and so so accurate with the straight left, he took a few great punches from Cotto and just seemed to walk straight through them. I feel sorry for Cotto, the amount of respect i have for him after that is unreal, i think his corner should of pulled him out at the end of the 9th, Pacquiao picked him to pieces tonight, it would of been great to see him through the final bell, but he took 1 hell of a beating. Without doubt the best pound for pound fighter in the world, this guy/machine would see off Mayweather judging by this performance, without a doubt. Perfect...just perfect. -------------------
