Have you seen our nice defense? Martin and Oduya are both injured so:
White-Mottau Salvador-Greene Murphy-Fraser #3 Dman-#5/6 Dman #4 Dman-#6/7 Dman AHL/#7 Dman-AHL/#7 Dman Of course the top four have really stepped it up (Andy Greene especially, he played like 30 minutes the other night) but still, compare these guys to other NHL teams. The PMD are Smurphy who is just terrible defensively and Greene who has been about average, if not below, the majority of his career. ------------------- you're so gangsta i'm so thug

Someone brought this question up on Yahoo! and I'm also curious...
What the hell is going to happen with Forsberg? He's been playing in the Swedish Elite league, he just played in the Karjala Cup, he's still considering playing in 2010, he's got a KHL team pushing millions in his face to play for them and on top of that, he wants to make another NHL comeback. Even if Forsberg manages to make it back in the NHL, where is he going to go? I'd imagine he would go with the Avs but not even Hejduk and Foote are enough reasons to come back since number 19 is gone. ------------------- ![]()

I don't understand how we can beat the Sharks one day and then lose, miserably, to Toronto two days later...
We've been doing it all season too; wins against teams like Chicago, Caps and Calgary, and then losing to the Blues twice, the Oilers and now the Leafs. Can't seem to score a power play goal to save our lives, and now we've got another forward on the injury list with Williams looking like he's done his knee. Not like we're not getting enough shots either, we just can't put the bloody puck into the back of the net. But hey, it's only early November, we're still alright. -------------------

Was at the Leafs - Red Wings game tonight, and wow does Gustavsson look even more amazing in person. Would have had the shut out if the Leafs defense didn't leave him out to dry with a Cleary breakaway. Kessel sure looks like a solid pick-up as well; probably not solid enough to warrant two first-round picks, but he'll definitely help this team. Man I forgot how much I love the atmosphere at hockey games.

*Canadian hockey games.
Yeah, it was a great game, I was there as well. I felt like a bit of a hypocrite seeing as I'm a bit of a proponent of boycotting MLSE, but the tickets were free and the person taking me owed me since our plans to go to the game in Montreal on Halloween fell through. I don't have Leafs TV, so it's the first game I've seen them win this season. Definitely their best performance so far though, Gustavsson rocked and Kessel is looking pretty good. I <3 Kaberle. Where did you sit Vulcan?

Section 120 Row 20-something, I don't remember the exact number seeing as I forgot to keep one of the tickets as a memento (my girlfriend's Dad scored them free from work, so she took me. I'm definitely with you on not wanting to actually buy tickets from MLSE). It was the last row of the reds though, right before those few rows of special club seating or something. What about you?
Damn, I had no idea Kaberle was rocking shit so much this year; 16 assists and 18 points in 15 games, on pace for a career year. Man I gotta admit, this team is a lot of fun to watch when they actually play well. -------------------

Damn, I was actually in the same area as you. I sat in Section 322 in the Green seats, I forget the row though. Great view, but then again there's hardly any bad seats at the ACC.
Yeah, I'm glad we didn't trade Kaberle. It's a bit ridiculous how he hasn't been made captain yet. So what if he's soft-spoken; Sakic was soft-spoken and I doubt you would label him as an inefficient captain. You should lead by example. Kaberle tells the players where to pass and where to go a lot of the time, especially on the PP.

So it would be easier asking what the score is on an internet instead of just going on the nhl website where it shows you.

The Sharks won 5-0. Goals by McGinn, Pavelsi, Boyle, Heatley and Malhotra if I remember correctly.
