re: NHL Discussion

The fact that this guy always comes on this forum asking what the score is when he can just go to the nhl website like everyone else in the world.

Say that you, Dudeguy, missed a Sharks game. Would you ask what the score is on this forum or go to nhl.com or maybe the Sharks website to check?

re: NHL Discussion

I have Yahoo! Sports bookmarked. It's just so much easier.

Facking Devils, man. I didn't watch the game but by the 2nd period we had a 2 goal lead over the Devils. Finals score is 3-2 Devils. How the hell did we blow it?! >_>

I don't know about Jarkko, but Tuomo's hit on Tucker was certainly unfortunate for us Avs. He hasn't come back yet due to the concussion...

re: NHL Discussion

I live in Australia, so the only way I can find out anything about the NHL is through NHL.com.

I really like it though; site's a hell of a lot more organised than any of the other sporting sites I've visited for the popular sports down here. Love the online radio streams you can get from the team websites too; can't watch any of the games because I don't have cable (and they hardly show any games anyway), so it's the best I've got.

Also, Johan Franzen (torn ACL), Valteri Filppula (broken wrist) and now Jason Williams (fractured fibula) makes me sad...

re: NHL Discussion

You can get live radio streams? For free, I'm assuming? Wow, I can't believe I never checked for that. Effing awesome. Thanks bro!

The loss tonight was disappointing... the Oilers are not a team we wanted to lose to. Oh well, I guess, sometimes it's just one of those nights. Just as long as there aren't too many more of "those nights"...

re: NHL Discussion

NHL.com used to do it for free but now you have to pay for audio or video. Sucks because it means no more free video streams on Yahoo.

The video stream on NHL.com costs, but you can listen to the games live for free via the teams' websites. I go to redwings.nhl.com all the time and stream the games straight from there. Pretty sure you can do it from the other sites too; I know you can do it from the Pens and Devils' sites because I've streamed some of their games on occasion too.

Bah, I think the Capitals will be fine without Ovechkin. They don't seem to have any lack of scoring, getting 11 goals in the past 2 games.

Yeah, the Capitals have built a really quality team around him. I especially like Brooks Laich, really cool player.

What's interesting though is that with both Ovechkin and Malkin out early, this leaves the door wide open for the Art Ross trophy. Right now, Anze Kopitar seems to be the one jumping on that the most.

We raped the Panthers 7-4. I think we're fine. We have Backstrom and Semin who are very good at scoring goals. And it's not just them scoring. We have virtually everyone on the team putting pucks in the goal. Laich, Morrisonn, Bradley, Laing, Knuble, hell even my friend's cousin Brian Pothier got his first goal since March. Steckel is bound to get one going his way. He's gotten so unlucky with pucks lately but he'll get his.

I think we'll be fine without Ovi and Green.

re: NHL Discussion

And a few minutes ago I read that Nylander has been activated, guess he's back from a conditioning stint that could've been a way to jettison him and his salary. It would help if he could find his old form he had pre-injury a couple years back.

re: NHL Discussion

I heard Beninati and Laughlin talking about him the other night. What exactly is the situation on him? I never actually found out. Just heard a lot of negative talk about him in the offseason.
