Predictions:
1. Orlando Magic 2. Boston Celtics 3. Cleveland Cavaliers 4. Atlanta Hawks 5. Washington Wizards 6. Chicago Bulls 7. Detroit Pistons 8. Indiana Pacers The East is actually prety tough to predict. There is a lot of different teams that will be fighting for spots between 4-10. The top three spots are on lock-down, it only will matter the order of Boston, Orlando, and Cleveland. Pretty excited to see a bit of the Cleveland/Boston game tonight. I've got the Celtics winning, but Lebron always makes things interesting. I was reading online that Big Baby Davis might be out for the year. I think thats a HUGE blow. -------------------

Out for the season? It's only a broken thumb. Doesn't take that long to recover from it I don't think. Maybe he will miss a quarter of the season at most.
But really, how much of a dumbass does he have to be? Getting to get in to an altercation right when the NBA is about to tip off? Really? But wow, you think the Pacers will make the Playoffs this season and the Heat will miss the Playoffs? That would really shock me to be honest. ------------------- Denver Broncos: 8-6 / In McDaniels I Trust

Yeah, I'm actually pretty high on the Pacers. That is, if they stay healthy. Dunleavy must be around for them to be able to compete, and if he is, then I think that team is pretty solid. Granger is a top 10 NBA player, and then you've got the double-double machine Troy Murphy and Roy Hibbert in the middle who will do very well as long as he stays out of foul trouble. Losing Daniels hurts though.
The Heat; Blah. Same team as last year, and with other teams in the East improving, I think they slip and fall. Hell, I have them as the 4th best team in the SE division behind Orlando, Washington, and Atlanta. quote NegativeEnergyI don't know, I was just going by an article that I read over at another sports forum: Link I figured a couple of months made more sense, so we'll see. -------------------

Yea, but 4th seed in the Southeast isn't even that bad either, considering the Southeast Division is easily the best division in the Eastern Conference.
The Heat should make the Playoffs without that many problems if you ask me, as long as they stay healthy. Of course, Wade will need to carry the team again, but if Beasley can get his head on straight, he could be a beast this season and Chalmers will improve every year. The Pacers though, I still don't know about that, but we shall see indeed. ------------------- Denver Broncos: 8-6 / In McDaniels I Trust

quote DragonMaster DyneTotally agree there. 4-10 is up for grabs for virtually every team in the East this year. We all know, barring some HUGE injuries, Cleveland, Boston, and Orlando will be 1-2-3 in some order. How it pans out from there I really can't tell you. You never know what team will show up. Philly could make a statement if Elton Brand decides he wants to try this year. The Fizzards are a make or break team if Arenas decides to play. I can't really make a truly accurate prediction right now, but I'll throw one out there for the hell of it: 1. Boston 2. Orlando 3. Cleveland 4. Atlanta 5. Detroit 6. Philadelphia 7. Washington 8. Great game to start the season, and a big win for us in Cleveland. I'm lovin Sheed already in that rotation with him and Perk and Pierce is still the truth. The D slept a few times, but overall, it was great.

Love watching my team beat Lebron's gay ass.
Not to mention the fact that the Cavs lost just two games at home last season. Very satisfying to see Shaq and LeBron go down together after all that hype the two received as if it was the second coming of Kobe and Shaq.

I wasn't cheering for any team during Boston/Cavs. I would have been glad if either lost. Boston looks better than the Cavs in their first meeting, but it's still a long way till the season is over and they still have 1 more game @ Boston.
Anyway Prediction: 1. Boston Celtics 2. Orlando Magic 3. Cleveland Cavaliers 4. Atlanta Hawks 5. Miami Heat 6. Washington Wizards 7. Chicago Bulls 8. 76'ers -------------------

I see the Raptors being a pile of dog shit again this year. That team plays no defense and they have the softest frontcourt in the league.
As for the Celtics/Cavs game; I'm glad Boston won, even if I hate their asses. Lebron just pisses me off so much. Celtics struggled early but they really got their shit together. Rondo and Pierce were terrific. OH SNAP TONIGHT MAGIC AGAINST THE SIXERS! THE BEST TEAM IN BASKETBALL HISTORY IS READY TO PUT ON A SHOW! WE'RE WINNING 72 GAMES THIS YEAR BABY! -------------------
