I used Buffalo as an example, with rangers with a few. You need a balance with veterans and young also having a good team chemistry. There's just too many variable to suggest anything different. Chemistry is definitely vital finalblade. I understand that point.
However, having 10 highly paid players definitely improves your chances significantly. | |

I say the Phils in 6 or 7. I would like the Yanks to win, only to wake the goddamn Boston Red Sox front office that sometimes you need to overpay for a guy that will produce for you(Teixiera). Anyway, Phils will win if they can get 3 starts out of Cliff Lee. The guy is nasty. Has nasty stuff. Yanks are a great team, but its going to be tough to score on him. And Pedro has gave them fits in the past too. Don't expect that to be an easy win. Still, Phils in 6 or 7.

Disagree.
Go ask the 2004-2008 Yankees. As much as it pains me to say it, you can see clear chemistry in that dugout when cameras pan it. In years past, everyone on the Yankees had a very serious attitudinal approach when playing games and it was very apparent when cameras would show images of the dugout. | |

Chemistry really doesn't mean shit among teammates in baseball, especially compared to other team sports (hockey, football, basketball, soccer). I'm sorry but as a yankee fan if you truly think the yankees had chemistry from 04-08 than you have serious problems.
The 96-00 yankees HAD CHEMISTRY. Those(04-08)years the yankees had a bunch of overrated players, shitty pitchers and bad chemistry and never won the WS or made it past the first round. This year, the yankees have that chemistry. Anyway: I heard someone over the radio say they're taking the Phillies in 5 games. I mean really?! I know they're the defending champs but they're not going to beat them in 5. That's laughable. I see game 7 phillies winning if it manages to be pushed to that.
