I have like 5 "skater" shirts, Etnies, Enjoi, Girl. I am not a hardcore skater or anything, I am not that great and I dont dress like most do.

its a hard choice. cuz mullens a nut on the board, but he cant really hit stairs or anything. hes just an insane freestyler, aside from creating street skating. but i hafta say Haslam because of his crazy lines and combos and such. like his boardslide heelflip outs. thats just crazy.

I have a pair of Vans and I'm pretty sure that they are designed for skateboarding, but just making sure and keeping the thread alive. They aren't this exact pair but are shaped the same.

yeah i would say they are for skateboarding. when your through with those, pick up some Nike SB's. they are definitely some of the most comfortable skate shoes. pretty good too. and Adidas. thats what i have now. good looking and skate good too. what kind of decks does everyone have. i have Enjoi

Still have that Wal-mart board I spray painted over.
Anyone wanna recomend the parts I should get when I get a new one. I guess I want a pretty good one for a beginner. The only thing I'm pretty sure I'm getting is those Bone Reds berings or w/e theyre called because I hear those are cheap and really good. Price isn't a huge issue, but no 200 dollar deck please. yeah. definetely go with the reds. as for wheels. i say go for hubba. there pretty good so far. the deck, my favorite is Enjoi. really it doesnt matter much what you get, just dont get plan b. maybe even go to like Zumiez or something and get a blank deck for 20 bucks. there good. and they work like a pro deck. trucks, go for either Ventures or Indys. and uh, i think thats it. yeap. thats all.

That's pretty weird, I was mainly thinking an Enjoi from what I read online. Cool.

re: Skateboarding III |

then i say get an enjoi or a blank. you might want to start out with a blank, just in case you dont really want to keep skating. but its up to you. i would say either of them

Blank sounds like the better option I guess. I'm assuming hard wheels are what I want...dont know what kind though.

sounds good except for the element sticker. For some reason Ive been hearing bad stuff about it lately. (Most of them are mentioning Bam being sponsored by them, but...)
and how much would what you suggested cost in all? This message was edited by Benk_92 on Oct 13 2007. ------------------- Guestbook{}USA forum!{}Skateboarding | |

re: Skateboarding III |

uh yea no need for an element sticker. the cost for that would definetely be under 100 i think. the deck should be around 20-30. the trucks, well basically trucks are trucks as long as there real trucks. so get whatever is cheapest. just do not get grind kings. bearings, if you go with red bones then 15. and blank wheels are usually like 16 or something. so probably in like the 75-90 price range i suppose/
