How does everyone feel about Mike Vallely?

with his size, doing all those crazy tricks.
mad props, but hes not that big.

Dude Mike V is badass. Hes got such a unique skating style, you see all these other street pros doing their tre flips down stairs and grinding down handrails...
and then theres Mike V doing his crazy ass wall plants and no comply flamingo 1 foot lip stall shit that nobodys even heard of XD
The dudes pretty hardcore, and if you seen the way the guy sticks up for himself, his friends, and mainly skateboarding.. Respect.

that is who he is. id much rather sit and watch a 2 hour long video of mike v doing what he does instead of like, fully flared or something. no matter how many times he does things, its always different in a way. with a skate video like fully flared, its all the same things just in different places/

Ok thats good, i thought i was the only one that liked him.

So an update i guess. I started skating seriously about 3 weeks ago, i got an ollie down, but i can't get it that high, the average i would say is 3 or 4 inches off the ground. Pop shove it, i get really close but its all commitment i guess, i dont wanna fully commit cause i got a football game on sunday which i have to play in, i cannot be injured.

So yea thats the update, after i learn to pop shuvit well, i think ill try to learn a kick flip or varial flip as some of my friends say it is easier.

Fully Flared has upped skateboarding, putting the standard of stree skating at a new level. How you can say you would prefer to see Mike Vallely do some ballet is beyond me...

But when he skates street courses he is gnarly. I'm not normally the type of person to like his style of skating but he is always going big and is in the sport for the love so I respect him.

i think it could be because i like his style of skating more than a regular street skater. in a way. because his style is so different from everybody elses. but really, i dont see what was so great about fully flared. it was good and all, but still for the most part, each guy did the same thing but at different spots. the only thing i really liked was the intro.

anyways, its like super cold here, so havent been skating local spots, juss garage sesh with others.
i havent watched fully flared yet, cause the dl took to damn long, so i cant say anything.

Anyone got some tips on how to ollie while rolling? I can't really get it. And yes i can ollie while stationary.

I just explained how I tried to Nollie Heel that ledge like 30 times and it killed my body lol.


To Ollie going along just go slowly and gradually build up speed, it's hard to give tips to people about tricks in skateboarding, especially the Ollie. It's just about practise, determination and dedication.
