Ahh alright I get it. That makes sense. I'm sure I can always have one of my friends show me at a later time too.

So I've decided to get a pro board. I'm skatin' around 6 months now and I'm half decent, this is what I'm thinkin' of getting.
Deck: Alien Workshop Shatter Logo 8.0in Trucks: Independent 139 Stage 9 Red/Black Bearings: Bones Reds Wheels: Element 52mm Section Wheels What do you guys think, I'm thinking this is good because of reviews and what friends have told me. ------------------- quote Sereph

That is a decent set-up dude. You should buy it. Let us all know how it rides when you get it. Also, have you been skating for 6 months with a K-mart board?

independents?
those get kinda heavy, but some skaters like that. id go for thunders, but thats just me. bones? i got reds of my friend, and people mistake them for some crazy bearings idk wth their talking about. but bones are good. good luck. -------------------

quote mphiscool51Yep 6 months with a K-Mart board. quote JetLibedWhat sort of Thunders would you recommend. I normally do street and quite a few stair sets, they need to be able to survive serious grinding. ------------------- quote Sereph

re: Skateboarding III |

Oh, see.
if your just gonna be grinding 24/7 and you like heavy trucks then stick with independents if your gonna be like doing stairs, or like grinding whenever you can, and want some light trucks, then get thunders. more like, prostrike low trucks- actual name. actually i take back everything VENTURES, very popular, very stable, very good. super light low truck- actual name for me id either be ventures or thunders. -------------------

personally id go with ventures. ive had mine for maybe a year and a half, maybe a bit less. and there still alive. pretty close to snapping i would think, but lasted me a long time, and i do a decent amount of grinding.

Krux are pretty good too. I usually ride them and they don't give me problems. They have cool designs as well.
