Yep, it's because some files or games don't have the sleep feature and so when you turn it back on the PSP recalls nothing on it and locks up.

The only games that you can play are at a website called psponme.com, and as for videos, I am about 95% sure that there is no way to play videos on the psp. It is only flash player 6, and most if not all video sites use flash player 9. Before you ask, it is not upgradeable because of onboard memory constraints. Besides, some images take forever to load, so imagine how long a video will take. As for the MSN problem, I did not even know that you could go on MSN with the PSP. I probably will not anyways, because it seems to cause problems. As for your problem, I recommend that you just completely exit out of MSN (back to the PSP home menu) and then put it into sleep, or else just turn the PSP all the way off, not into sleep.

You can play Youtube videos with a homebrew application.

Called PSPTube, yes, but does that actually stream the videos from youtube, or do you download them to the memory stick and then watch them? I also have a way to get youtube videos w/o homebrew, although it may take a little longer. I have a youtube downloader I got from toggle.com, and then I convert them with pspvideo 9. It works. I got my favorite commerical, the one with the talking stain, its for the tide to go pen.

Google 'download youtube videos'. There's lots.
I think KeepVid.com is the most popular or something. ------------------- | |
