Tips on reducing 3000's battery consumption |
|
There's been a lot said about the 3000s battery consumption being increased by its screen. While reports that the battery still has in fact the same life as a 2000's battery, I still find that it doesn't last long enough.
Does anyone know of ways to reduce battery consumption, perhaps through settings? Or, is it possible to install a better battery in a 3000? Thanks

If you have custom firmware I can help. Of course, running the PSP in the lowest brightness setting and with reduced volume will help. Also, note that your PSP loses some battery power in sleep mode, and it's better to turn it off over long periods if you really need to save power.
The phat battery would fit in a slim. It bulged out, but it fitted. I'm not sure about the 3000, but it should fit. That has better battery life. Not too convenient, but for those stints where you're just sitting on a couch or something you may as well have the bigger battery. -------------------
