Flea Market

Ok, I'm doing the flea market today but I don't have a price range for anything. How am I supposed to know how much to sell stuff for? Is there a guide that will tell me how much Tom Nook Sells everything for, so I know just to go a bit higher?

Really if anyone could link me to a price guide or post one here for Tom Nook's Store, that would be what I need. Thanks.

re: Flea Market

Well I can tell you that selling anything except fish won't give you much. If you tend to sell furniture, that's a bad idea, since the most you can get is what you'd get if you sold your furniture at nooks. I suggest you only sell fish/bugs/fossils at your flea market, mainly because you can get double of what you would get if you sold them to Nook.

re: Flea Market

Sell every fossil you find today, and sell any fish that can sell for a high amount for a fish. (If you have the time the same as in reality, then you should be able to catch soem rare fish worth about 8,000 I think)

re: Flea Market

I see. Well I have 7 fossils so that should suffice. Thanks.

I do see benefit to selling some shells though, as I got 920 for a White Scallop instead of 450 at Nook's.

Problem is I never catch any fish worth much, so that sucks. But thanks for the tip, SB.

re: Flea Market

An easy fish to catch is the Red Snapper, which is around the beach, and sells for 6000 bells in the Flea Market. As well, if you plant coconut trees, and catch beetles like, Atlas, Goliath, Hercules, and Elephant beetles, then they sell anywhere towards 12000-16000 bells!

Goodluck ;D

re: Flea Market

Awesome. I just don't have much luck catching rare fish, though. And it seems like the big ones always bite my line, then go away even though I press A. Guess I'm not fast enough.

So far I've made about 20k in the Flea Market, which was pretty good for me.

How can you get coconuts, though? None ever wash up on the beach for me.

re: Flea Market

It takes a few weeks or so before a coconut washes up on the beach. Then plant one where the soil and sand meet, and then a tree will grow. Then you get more coconut trees, and more =)

re: Flea Market

Until I cut down all the lame Pear Treas and have a tropical forest of Coconuts. Lol ok. But I set the date to September so it's been a few months and still no Coconuts. Ah well.

I caught an Ocean Sunfish and a Red Snapper. My 2 most valuable fish ever so far. Thanks again.

re: Flea Market

Well at the flea market if u start at a high price with furniture then come down bit by bit the amout your selling it for could be high. You might not have the right day for the coconuts.
