I went over to my friend's town and started fishing with him. Holy Jesus. I caught like 5 blue marlins and 3 arapaimas. When I went back to my town, however, it mainly consisted of sea bass and occasionally a red snapper. My environment is normal, and I had the exact same time and exact same date as him. And it's not a coincidence because my town always sucks for fishing, and vice versa.

This happened to me too once, and all of my friends who fished with me were amazed . I guess some towns are just luckier than others when it comes to the amount of rare fish in the waters.

off the subject of fishing, i am at a friends house getting ready to go home. i need someone to help with upgrading my nooks for me.

Eh. I don't know. Our towns are almost identical.

Town's aren't luckier, although it seems that way sometimes. When you go other peoples towns then your choices of bugs and fish are cut down slightly, and the more rare fich are common.

Mistie check out the WI-FI forum or read some of the walkthoughs to help. In order to get Nookington's you must first have someone purchase something in your town. The first upgrades however (NooksWay and Nook and Go) are done on your own by buy alot of things.

Is there a way to make my town easier to catch things, then?

There are certain rumors that you might hear pretaining to fung shei and four leaf clovers, but as far as I know those are just myths. I don't think you can make your town luckier. (watch though. someone will come on here and say that you can use the previously described methods. Bet.)
