I have been having some triouble with manerva i have 99,999 hp, and i have pretty good stats but she always kills me in one hit? any ideas or tips?

Your going to want to have 255 spr and vit. You MUST block when she does Ultima.

Secondly, you could just stockload on like 25,000,000 sp using the Minerva sp and gil trick and use sp master be invincible for the fight while just costly punching away at her.

thanks for the heads up on the vitality and spr. But i tried that trick and i didnt work. oh wait i didnt have my vitality that high i will try that now. and i had dash equipped so i will take that off. oh and do you mea her judgement arrow? cause she never used ultima on me? oh and why does judgement arrow kill me even though i used pheonix down?

Judgement Arrow dispels everything you have. So raise gets dispelled during the attack.

one more thing this has absolutely nouthing to do with minerva but how do you get the third set of "to end the war with wutai"? that is the last set of missions i have to do. I have sets 1,2,4,and 5. did i do something wrong?

In chapter six you can go to LOVELESS street and undertake a side mission called "six wutai spies" you must go around midgar catching disguised wutai spies. After catching all six it unlocks the third set of wutai missions. Don't sweat it if you are past chapter 6, it can be done in chapter 8 as well.

Eh, don't sweat it. I missed it on my first playthrough. I am on my third playthrough now trying to get a 100% complete game.

I feel it depends on what point in the game you are, because you make more than 1 trip to Sector 8. But its always the first thing I do so I wouldn't know either.

Now back on topic, I used the Gil and SP trick to get SP to fuse materia to up my VIT and SPR stats to 255...but I still got slaughtered, then I tried the Protect Ring and that was a big help. Also, the only attack I needed was Costly Punch.
