They have to make AT LEAST one more FFVII game. If you seen the secret ending of DoC and know what happens to Genesis at the end ofCrisis Core, you know who's in the next sequal. I think the summons(if any), should be able to be played, as in FFX, where you PLAY as the summons. When they do, it will be PIMPIN'!!!!!!!!!

pretty good, i think you should play as Cloud, in Crisis Core style(fighting system), meet a new character or 2, have Vincent in your party fighting with you(not controlable), and have all summons so far in FFVII games but play them as in FFX, where you play as them like a character.

yes exactly, cloud was remembering ZACKS memories, basically he just subconciously replaced zack with himself.

I also think G will be the main, dont put cloud as the main again. It needs to be Sephy. or G^_^

Wrong, wrong, wrong.

Cloud was NEVER a SOLDIER, and Genesis is still technically a SOLDIER.

i would like a game based on sephiroth. he's clouded in mystery and i think it would be cool to get more information about him and how he came to be so powerful. sephiroth as the main character would rock. of course, this would be before he becomes the super villian he is today. i'm not really into cloud as the main character. ff7 has somewhat done that already, and advent children has clearly made him the hero.

he is a SOLDIER still, he was given as K.I.A. but still SOLDIER, and as far as i remeber Deep Ground would also be considered as SOLDIER, besides teh fact that they are DG
i wouldn't main havin Genesis or Sephiroth as main Charcaters, and i wouldn't mind having Cloud, to, even if i don't like him very much, i htink he would be good, but only if Squeenix played teh cards right
but you still have the story and ohter plentyfull stuff there

also it would be kinda cool to have playable summmons and at teh same time not, it was a thing for FFX and it was awsome, i never saw Kights of teh Round but i am guessing they were about 9? so i don't see us playing with nine charcters
and if ti was action based they woudl have to do teh summons KH style if controlable, EX: Bhamut you would enter a mode were you woudl fly around shooting fireballs, because i can't imagine us controling Bahamut on an Action RPG
but i wan't the summon LVL up back again, like FFVIII or FFX

but it would be kind of cool but out of the original FFVII contes where summons come and do what they have to do and go, i do go wiht spicyng summons a bit, dunno why btu i beleive they woudl come with an awser

Hman242 - Genesis turned down the DeepGrounds. Even then, their full name is DeepGround SOLDIERs.

I still think Genesis will play a huge part in the next game.

I hope they go back to the other style of rpgs with active battle or whatever it was called. Where the characters each stood on one side. I preferred that greatly to this button mashing crap. And that is what it is. Look at what you do when playing, very little is strategy and most is hitting the button faster than the bad guy. Including dodging. There is really no item use in the game in battles. It was too annoying to get too.

what ever the story, Genesis HAS to be a part of it.

I think there will be two more. The first one with the beginning of genesis angeal and sephiroth with probably multiple playable and the war with Wutai. Second game will be a sequel to ff7 and probably occur after ac. Focusing on genesis and the Turks and fighting off jenovah in her full form.

And hopefully a ff7 remake for ps3 sooner than later.
