It iss mentioned in the game. The security guards going throuhg his office after he abandons shinra mention it if you ask them like 3 times.

However Lazard didn't make much sense. The only way someone could degrade is if they were born with jenovah cells. So how is he the illegitimate son if he was a clone?? Didn't make much sense to me. He also looked just like angeal atg the end of the game which adds to the idea he is a jenovah clone.

That doesn't make any sense. No other person besides angeal and gensis degraded and they were clones. So you are telling me that only lazard also degrades and happens to degrade at the same time as the other two?? That makes no sense. It makes more sense he was a clone all along. What I meant by untested is that he wasn't tested on during birth, like Genesis, Angeal, and Sephiroth were.


All the clones were degrading. The Genesis clones and Angeal clones were all degrading.

There WERE actually Angeal clones, but unlike the Genesis clones, who were human, Angeal's clones took the form if a monster, and had a pale Angeal face with closed eyes on it's neck.

Lazard, like Hollander, injected himself with cells to survive any certain attacks, but both started degrading like everyone else.

The angeal clones were made in a tube. Which is how clones are made. Hollander wasn't degrading though. "Unless I missed it" Clones aren't made they are grown or at least in a conventional sense.
