I went with the Miata MX-5. Which one did you go with?

I'm just curious, what selection of cars do you have from the start? (Like when you follow through the season mode, yes I know theres no story mode)

You have a Miata MX-5, Dodge Neon, Volkswagon Golf and something else but I forgot...

same here cause i used it to finish drift with it.

I chose the Golf. It's pretty good, but I'm looking it get a muscle car to buy.

I got the Golf and i just bought the nissan 240sx and its
a pretty cool car.

I went with the Mazada MX5 its like tradition for me to go with it ive been starting with it ever since the first NFSU came out lol

You sound like me with Gran Turismo. I always start out with that in NFS and Gran Turismo lol

I went with the Toyota Celica all souped up, very responsive and tight gears for kicking muscle car ass in the tight go-kart-like races.

I went with the MX-5. Later on i modified with body kits vinyls and everythin and it looked sick as so i don't regret choosin it

I started with the 240sx, then once I unlocked the rx7 i went with that, then for some reason around 84% complete all my cars disapeared, so i got an Evo 8, after a few races i got it modded pretty good (did what i had for drifts, then did a few urls) this is what i got right now for the Evo 8

Evo 8 (NFSU2):
Max Power - 459.9 BHP @ 7950 RPM, Max Torque - 396.3 ft-lbs @ 4950 RPM
0-60 2.46, 0-100 7.97, max speed 210 mph

I found that there is a different car for each type of track you are doing. Example; For a sprint track, or a drift track, you need a combination of top speed and acceleration over handling. In a circuit track or in a race with titles on the line, you want a car with the fastest excelleration, and best handling, but of course top speed is important too. For circuit, time trial and sprint races I trade between the mitsubishi lancer and the Nissan 350 ZX. For drag, I always pick the nissan 350 ZX. For drift, I was most comfortable with the Hundai Tibbouron. Another thing I found helped me was turning off the stability control. If you tap your brakes and turn just right, it helps a lot on corners. (Not so easy to learn to control when you crash though. Watch which ways you point your wheels when your crashing.) Just play around with different cars though. Different people are comfortable with different things so see what works for you.
