Zardwart's is only good for beating opponents you shouldn't be able to defeat. You give up the idea of actually trying to defeat your opponent through normal tactics and hope for a special to trigger. You get in the armor that you'll take alot of damage in and hope for luck to smile on you.

Raynar's is far superior as a weapon for fighting most opponents. Break out Zardwart's when you want to try defeating opponents like Undead Xyphos.

Krux,

It all depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for ice damage and freezing ability, then yes Elite Ice Katana is the best. If you are looking for mana sucking, healing yourself ability, then the Lycan Slasher is the way to go.

I really like my Frozen Time Spines, but that's rare. The new ice weapon "9000 Truths" or something like that is a waste of gold as far as I'm concerned.

deadfunny,

Your build is how you decide to distribute your stats. Stats are very effective when they are at high level, therefore if you want to have as powerful a character as possible, you'll need to decide which categories to put stats in and which categories to leave 0.

The powerful builds?

Pure Mage->Intellegence, Dexterity, Endurance
Pure Warrior->Strength, Dextereity, Endurance
Beastmaster Mage-->Intellegence, Charisma, Endurance
Beastmaster Warrior-->Strength, Charisma, Endurance

The beastmasters are best for Guardian accounts.

Looking at your character, I personally would go with a pure warrior build and untrain your int because you have primarily melee weapons and armors but it will be hard because you have to go through a lot just to untrain with a free account. If you want to know how to do this PM me.

Warriors have better cheaper weapons. Mages have more powerful spells. Warriors do not run out of mana.

At the moment, mage builds are better. But you can do just as well against the opponents you'll run into as a warrior.

I don't think there is much difference between Vampire and Werewolf, other than the weapons you can get. The Werewolf's Lycan slasher is a very good weapon.

re: Character Rating House & Advice ~Nr. 7~

deadfunny,

Mages are better because with 200 Int you rarely run out of mana. If you don't run out of mana you can just use high damage spells to quickly defeat your enemy. You can do this in the protection of Golden Plate, the best defensive armor in the game.

In other words, you dish out the highest rate of damage while in the protection of the best armor in the game. To get anything close to mage damage, warriors need to use inferior defensive armors and 0 protection shield.

The good part is that most opponents are still easily defeatable by warriors, the game is just that easy.

Solo,

Hybrids are inferior because they don't use stats efficiently. Let's look at a lvl 90 Character:

Pure build:

200 Int or Str
200 Dex
50 End

vs

Hybrid:

135 Str
135 Int
130 Dex
50 End

I've kept the endurance the same to simply make stat bonus comparisons.

Pure build has +20 blocking, +25 random damage and +25 bth.

Hybrid has +13 blocking, +17 random damage and +17 bth.

The pure build has about a +7 advantage in every category over the hybrid. In this scenerio, the lvl 90 hybrid is actually a lvl 63 warrior and lvl 63 mage(with significantly less mana due to low Int).

By lvl 100, the difference will become even greater because the pure build will have the advantage in every category: bth, random damage, blocking and hp.

Edit:

But the good news for hybrids is that the game is easy enough that you'll be successful even with the hybrid build.
