You are even more unlucky than me. I got his hp down to around 200+hp before I click the refresh button.
His hp was around 500+hp that time. I only got mp to cast riiptide. I actually take the risk. I equip Pet whistle to change pet to Asgardian Lion.(I have the FGM as pet that time) I think that maybe I can win him with riiiptide then with Asgardian Lion 4 hits attack. But it only do the 2 hits. He ended up with 200+hp. Click on the refresh button after that cause I don't want to die on his CLONK attack.

Finally beaten your nemesis Jr. lol. Anyway, I got lucky with his dad few days ago. I wanted his CLONK attack to hit me. Then, I heal with the eye of naab. And guess what, I BLOCK HIS CLONK ATTACK 2 TIMES IN A ROW WITH ONLY 64 MELEE!!!!!! At that time, nerfkitten nerfed him for 4 times already. And of cuz I beat him in the end.
