I went a little on the high side, it was some amount of time between 2 and 3 hours.

Thats a pretty long game. The longest game IVe had so far with this game is like 1h30min. But Ive had like 5 hour games in AOK

How could you go for 5 hours, that's just too far.

Playing 2vs2 oneline. We decided that no one could attack in like the first 30 minutes then we just gained some many resources. It was pretty much a pointless game, we just all kept making untis and sending them in to pretty much die lol. Eventually the other guys gave up because it got borring.

I played a 26 hour game in AOK, I used to have a screenshot but I don't have it anymore. It's on the internet somewhere...

But it was spread over weeks, on the largest map on the hardest diffculty level with 8 civs, it was between me (Persians) and the Japanese for a long time, really hard because we ran out of stone and gold really quick, and had to produce a lot of food, to sell to gold, or to buy stone with. I remember in the end I had something millions of food gathered.

Oh and 26 hours is not an exxaturation, it was actually a little more (26 hours some minutes)

saved the game then restarted the next day Im guessing.

It was not online, I was able to save it and load it.

Is it just me or is the forum less popular since the relese of the game?

Most forums loose popularity after a game is released. Lets take the BF2 forum for example. Lot's of posts and threads before release, dropped after release, back up again with the expansion (Special Forces) soon to be released.
