Obviously most people on Neoseeker don't have the patents to play strategic games like Age of Empires. It appears that tactical games are being pushed aside by the action genre. Futhermore with Age of Empires being on the PC, the graphics are only as good as your computer, with PS2 and XBOX the graphics have no limit. This would probably explain why PC gaming has such a small audience on Neoseeker.

After week of trying to get something out of the AOEIII support forums and e-mail addresses, I gave up and took my copy back to the store today.

I posted up on the official forum in a clam and non abusive manner that i'd taken the game back and encouraged anyone else who'd done so to post up.

As a result my posts were deleted, and my account banned.

I've been a huge fan of all the AOE games, but ES and Microsoft won't be seeing another cent from me. The lack of forsight by the ES admins, moderators and game devs is more than disapointing, it's almost unnaceptable.

There are so many people that can't get more than 5 minutes into the game before a fatal crash, and ES won't let out more than a peep in support.

Anyone else taken their copy back to the shop?

Super Smash Bros has something called a Tier List (Or mabey a Pier List. I cant remember). Its a list of characters that are proven to be better then other characters.

Out of curiosity, do they have one of these lists for AoE3's civilizations? I searched google but found nothing and thought that mabey one of you guys have found something.

What? That's insane. PS2 and XBOX have no comparison to an average computer's graphics. They are limited even more. They are stuck in a low resolution with cut out graphical options. Look at NFS:MW on any computer, then look at it on XBox. It's horrible on XBox.

To give an example of an old computer that can still out do consoles is our old Dell from maybe 2001 or so (Dimension 8250) with a P4 2.4ghz and a 6600GT in it, is playing all the latest games out, and most of them in max quality settings. Don't forget, computers make the games consoles play on.
